Who Intercedes For Us, Jesus or Allah?

Like the previous post, the answer to this question is also obvious. Even so, I'll point out the true intercessor.

A good scripture to answer this question is Romans 8:34 (KJV). "Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us."

But the Quran says in sura 39:35 (THRONGS) that, "Allah will acquit them of the worst of their deeds, and will reward them according to the best of what they used to do."

But 1 John 2:1 (KJV) reassures believers that, "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:"

As I pointed out before, Allah is a demon and not our heavenly Father. Revelation 12:10 (KJV) speaks of the Devil this way. "And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night."

I've also pointed out previously that the Quran and other so-called holy books are false gospels. Galatians 1:7 (KJV) says of these bogus gospels, "Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ."

Better still, Christ understands us and our weaknesses. Hebrews 2:18 (BBE) assures us that, "For having been put to the test himself, he is able to give help to others when they are tested."

How wonderful it is that we have such a caring friend advocating for us in heaven. I'll write more about his work in my next book called You Think You're Going to Heaven? Instead of a religion filled with duties and legalistic commandments, our Lord loves us and helps us through the sufferings of this world.

On Saturday, I'll be posting about a song which points out the hypocrisy of certain folks who pride themselves on being morally upright. God sees their secret sins which they hide from the public.

Mormonism Vs. Christianity on Christ

Mormons, as I pointed out in the previous post, use the same terms as Christians but they change the meanings of them. For example, the Bible states in John 1:1 (KJV), "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Reading the following verses, we discover that Jesus was the word which John mentioned. This and other scriptures show that Jesus and God are eternal beings and are part of the
Trinity.

Jesus was, according to the Book of Mormon, a saviour of the world, not thee saviour. Nephi 10:4 says, "Yea, even asix hundred years from the time that my father left Jerusalem, a prophet would the Lord God raise up among the Jews— even a Messiah, or, in other words,a Savior of the world."

Mormonism teaches that Jesus had a heavenly father and a heavenly mother. They believe that the purpose of this world is to give spirits human bodies. And since Jesus was a spirit, he was given a body.

The book of Mormon claims that Christ visited the so-called lost Israelites which traveled to North America and became the aboriginal peoples. This is manifestly false since North American natives never heard of Jesus Christ. Neither are they descendents of Jacob but are related to the people of northeast Asia.

Instead of visiting North Americans, Christ ascended to heaven and is at the right hand of God. Romans 8:34 (KJV) states, "Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that  died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand  of God, who also maketh intercession for us."

Moreover, Luke quoted an angel in Acts 1:11 (KJV), "Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."

I'll be writing more about falicies in false gospels in my next book called You Think You're Going to Heaven? People who follow counterfeit teachings will be in for a horrible shock come Judgment Day because they didn't obey Christ's commandments regarding faith in him.

What's Good About Good Friday?

This month's posts have been leading up to this question. After all, since Christ came to save sinners through his atoning death on the cross, we must understand how vile sin is. We also need to understand why only a sinless, eternal being could fulfill the law which God gave to the Israelites.

The "good" in Good Friday is that Jesus went to the cross for whosoever would believe in him. He could have "chickened out" but he went through with his mission. In Matthew 26:53 (KJV) Jesus said to the disciples and those taking him prisoner, "Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?"

Since one angel killed one-hundred-and-eighty-five Assyrian warriors, imagine the carnage seventy-two-thousand angels could do to Jerusalem and the Romans.

Instead, Christ fulfilled the scriptures, not only with his death on the cross but by his birth, life, and resurrection on the third day. As Mark 16:19 (KJV) states, "So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he  was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God."

And what's good about Christ being in heaven? Because he ascended into heaven, the Holy Spirit was given by God to we who believe in Christ. As Peter said to the crowd on the day of Pentecost, (Acts 2:33 KJV), "Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear."

Stephen, the first Christian martyr, was given a glimpse into heaven, as Luke recorded in Acts 7:55-56 (KJV), "But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up  stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus  standing on the right hand of God, And said, 'Behold, I see the heavens opened, and  the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.'"

And having our sins forgiven, we are justified in Christ as righteous. As Paul noted in Romans 8:34 (KJV),  "Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died,  yea rather, that is risen again," who is even at the right hand of  God, who also maketh intercession for us."

So what should be our response to such a great gift which salvation is? Paul wrote in Colossians 3:1 (KJV), "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things  which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God."

Because Jesus fulfilled all that the Father gave him to do, he reigns even over death. As he told his disciples in Matthew 28:18 KJV), "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, 'All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.'" That wouldn't have happened if he disobeyed.
