Saturday Song: Dion, Abraham, Martin, and John

Everybody keeps proclaiming the words "peace on Earth" but our world still is in turmoil. We have jihadi warriors attacking innocent civilians and military personnel on a daily basis. Ghettos are filled with violence. Countries such as North Korea threaten to wage war on other lands. And governments still promise us a wonderful life while overtaxing us.

Times were frightening forty-nine years ago when this song was a new hit on the radio. It certainly seems that the good people die young while dictators live on into old age.

Hear Dion's tribute to Abraham, Martin, and John here.

But in the midst of all this turmoil, we have wonderful promises in the Bible. Revelation 7:17 (KJV) declairs, "For the Lamb (meaning Jesus) which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes."

Likewise, Revelation 21:4 (KJV) proclaims, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

I so look forward to that world and I hope you'll be there too.

What do you think of this song and what I wrote. Please drop me a line below. But if you'd rather not comment, have a blessed new year.
